In May we hosted our Annual EHRC Symposium for both current members and prospects. The day couldn’t have been better! This year we took the symposium to a new venue, Hotel Madison in Downtown Harrisonburg.

This year’s EHRC symposium ‘At a Glance’:

  • 130 Attendees
  • 100 Active EHRC Employer Groups
  • 9 Captivating Presentations

. . . all fueling 1 GREAT day of networking, learning, and growing!

Throughout the day we heard several of our EHRC Vendor Partners present on their ‘piece of the puzzle,’ and had the exciting privilege of introducing new vendors as well. The expertise and forward-thinking solutions our partners offer in healthcare education and innovation play a crucial role in driving EHRC’s mission forward. The EHRC is a great example of active plan management. It is a comprehensive approach leveraging partnerships in everything that goes into a well-managed plan, from primary care to pharmacy spend to surgical needs and more.  Every employer group is unique in their plan spend and needs, and by building a strong, strategic network of plan partners, we’re able to meet employers where they are and serve them effectively..

Within the EHRC, you are part of a block, you aren’t doing this on your own. As a member of the EHRC you are part of a community of employers banding together to flip the script on employer-sponsored health insurance. As stated by many of the attendees of the event, one of the major highlights of the symposium was the Networking Lunch. All who attend this annual event truly enjoy getting to have real conversations with like-minded employers in the room tackling everyday issues and brainstorming on the ‘what’s next’ in the EHRC.  Over the years we have learned a lot and some of the best ideas come from the employer groups in the EHRC.

The market is constantly evolving, and employers have a lot to manage on a daily basis. This is why it’s important to have benefits consultants like LD&B who stay on the cutting edge to help employers combat new challenges.

The EHRC turned 11 years old in 2025, but we feel this is truly just the beginning of changing the way health insurance is delivered. If you want to learn more, reach out to one of our Employee Benefits Consultants.
